Flysurfer bar cap gone

Yesterday the red cap at the end of my SA2 19m bar popped out like the glue inside melted or I dont know

unlike this bar, mine does not seem to have screws that keeps cap in place:

My 19m is probably one of the early ones.

so fortunately I was close to shore and went back to fix it with tie wraps to finish my session.

Tonight I want to put some glue to fix it back, but I wonder what type of glue would fit best: aquaseal, construction ???

any idea !!

I intend to fit some holes with a stainless screw also to make sure it does not happen again

waterproof epoxy. if it 's carbon taping want be so easy.

sandblast/micro etch if you can or at least sand the components, may not need to tap

good luck
