I sent the Spirit with Steve Edley US98 to Austin Texas. Please contact Steve if you would like to be the next pilot to fly the Spirit.

It's the 3.9. I'm going to try to get it to SLP next weekend. I Don't think I'll be going with it. Is anyone from Austin going down?
It's a sweet machine and treated me very well at SOBB. It kept powered up nicely and was very forgiving, but fast and good upwind.

you should come down.... if you cant though, and really want to get the spirit there, you could ship it to me, i will be there saturday and sunday... email or u2u me

I'd like to pass it around Austin first and then will ship it out. I'd like to have it back in Texas for the next NAPKRA races in Galveston on Oct 16th for everyone to try. So it looks like we have the following:

Whoever has the kite should post in this thread so that everyone knows where it is. Whoever accepts the kite agrees to pay for shipping to the next person on the list (it's not much).

This will work out GREAT! We can knock out myself, Maven, Lad, Ragden and whom else wants to have a go at it. We will take it to the NJ Buggy bash and then I'll send it back by the 16h. Could this make it to me by next Wednesday?

I got it today! Wow, I'm digging the colors and will probably give it a go this afternoon.

What a fantastic power plant! Very smooth and fast through the window. A bunch of folks gave it a go this past weekend with one reaching a very high rate of speed on the beach (I'll let this person fill in the blanks)
