best way to ship mountain board
Anyone know the best way to ship a mountain board? I'm getting no where with FedEx who want way too much.
They claim the 48 x 20 x 15 box is too big. Do I need to take off the trucks and wheels to reduce the price?
I don't care if it takes 2 weeks to deliver as long as price is right.

When i recv'd my board from Ebay the wheels had been taken off to fit in a smaller box. It was shipped UPS. How much they asking? I think I paid
like $50 to have it shipped. Maybe less it's been awhile

the wheels and the straps need to come off and grab handle if you have it too. The trucks can remain connected to the board, and pack the box tigter
than leaving space.
if its not going very far, i liked use USPS or in a rush UPS - boards from CO to Canada only cost $30.00

I use fedex. cost about $30 to cross the USA and takes 3-5 days. I only take the wheels off. trucks and straps still on the board.
