I got the chance to fly my brand new 6m FS Pulse II today and my initial impressions are very

After reading through the manual, I must conclude that FS uses way to many stupid TLAs (three-letter acronyms).

I'm confused about one aspect of my FDS. My my setup does look like this http://www.flysurfer.com/gallery2_code/d/122869-2/pulse2_fds... but one of the power / center lines also has a small ring sewn into it a foot or two above the ring which attaches the red weakpoint line to the white 5th line. What is the ring for on the power line? Does that work as part of the FDS so the kite comes down somewhat offcenter or ???

First Pulse 2 did not come with FDS (5th line safety) but came with FLS (Front line safety - 4lines only).

So the little ring on the front line was to be used with FLS. No need for it since you have 5th line safety (FDS)

You may just remove it, but I would cut the ring not the line !!!

FDS is where its at. unless you enjoy death spins :dunno:

The New Speed 3's are all FLS now. That work with the Infinity Bar.
Just flying my 19m SP3 DE today.

The latest Pulses come with FDS.

I want a speed3, havent gotten it yet...
Where are you that you got one already... I was told October at the earliest...

sounds like your good B...................a pic of your set up would confirm.....what WAC setting are you on............ SSS or HSS..............try your hard steering setting...................Pulse 1s and 2s are awesome.......................congrats on your purchase..................:duh::duh:

I was at the Flysurfer Innovation days flying the 15s 19s and 2010 boards... Andy was testing the SP12 for final production.

Good tech info on the kites to from Armin and the design crew. Great bunch of guys out flying together. I wanted to be well informed on details and flying to give the best support, especially since I do kite repair as well.

I'll be riding a 12m Speed 3 DE next. Been on the SP2 12m reg.

I've been Flying one of the Demos I got from there...

I haven't changed the setup from stock and I believe the instructions said the default is set closer to the hard steering setup. Whatever it is, it felt good the two times I had it out.
