it said one of those guys started manufacturing kites out of So.Fla, wonder if his company is anything we have heard of, or if its still around... some of those guys weren't even harnessed

I remember seeing videos of this being done with Rogallo wing style delta gliders when I was a kid. That was 30 or 40 years ago, but these videos make the delta wing seem so modern.
