I'm just trying to see what others have planned for this event. I'm not sure where to stay just yet. Any suggestions?

I will be coming down early Friday morning after Thanksgiving and returning to Dallas late Saturday evening. I plan to be wiped out from 2 days of as much as I can get in.

I have in the past go the weekend before and stayt till the weekend after thanksgiving. And there will be others that do the same thing.

Once you get down there, you will wish you had stayed longer. Most people hang out for 4 days. If you can afford the time, do it.:wee::wee:

get yourself a good sturdy tent if its just one night.... otherwise there are a couple of decent motels within a couple miles... i will be making kinda random appearances, i dont know what my work schedule looks like for sure just yet... i may just leave a tent there and drive back if i need to... lotsa fun if youve never had to navigate around other people!

if i keep it up, dbbb will be the one year anniversary of no smoking!!

I'm a buggy noob. Still trying to figure all of it out. I don't get to ride as often as I would like because of my location. I'm hoping to get alot of pointers from you guys.

van, Depending on when your planning on being there I can bring a Peter Lynn bug that you can use.

Will I be able to ride my ATB in the same area as you buggiers?

That's awesome! You just name the day and I'll be there. I will mostl likely take the entire week off considering I still have 5 weeks of vacation left!! :wee:

You will have to stick to the hard pack on the shore line with the atb. Our buggys can go through softer sand and those set up with big foot light wheels can go through dunes.

I am excited already - my Blokart is going to get a good workout this year! Anyone else bring theirs?

I'm looking forward to it! Gonna try to get lots of practice on my ATB so I don't look like such a noob!

Um... just thought of this... what happens if it is raining that weekend? Does the event get postponed?

So far we have not been rained out on turkey day. The event goes on rain or shine. This year we purchased a big tent with sides. It measures 13x26 feet so we should have plenty of room to get out of the weather if we need to.

Hummm - maybe I should look around for some kind of cart to attach to the blokart - as of right now he just has to stay in camp while I go out and play.
