Thoughts, advice, and a hello!
First off a big hello to all of PKF. Been hanging around a bit and this really feels like a great community.
Bought my first kite a couple weeks back, a HQ Symphony 1.3, a good time in the winds I've been able to get out in, only about 12 hours so far, and of
course I can't get enough and want more.
Been thinking of going with a Flexifoil Rage 3.5 with handles, then eventually moving to larger more liffty kites.
I'm about 190lbs. and don't see really overly strong winds where I'm able to get out to, about 3-15mph and mostly choppy/gusty. Unfortunately my job
keeps me busy so I get out when and where I can. Looking to stay on land, mostly recreational maybe a bit of scudding or jumps down the line but would
like a good strong pull.
Opinions or thoughts are more than welcome and appreciated. Also, I would like to support a local shop when I do buy so anyone with a good reference
or shop of their own in the bay area please let me know.

Welcome....you will find that kites are like beer, once you open the case you just cant have one...
The guys on this forum REALLY know their stuff so don't be affraid to ask questions....i've been known to start a few forum pitches myself...lol....
3 to 4 meter in those winds will be fun to hairy so heed the cautions on this board when the guys mention them: i'm in at 225lbs and my 3meter in
10mph winds will launch me if i'm not careful!

Welcome!
There are a few guys on here with their own shops ... they'll help you out!
Say, I think we need a sticky thread listing the shop guys websites, names etc ...
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Welcome to the forum and your new addiction. I'm semi close to you in the Sacramento area. We need to let you try a Peter Lynn Viper 2.6m and you will
be in love. I have not had one person who has flown this kite not giggle like a little school girl.

DA I'm pretty sure I've seen your on-line store, you have some of the best deals around. I'd love to get out to see what you have, pictures may be
worth a thousand words but flying what I've been seeing would be so much more fun.
