Trainer on a bar

Well...

Our club was the fortunate winner of bladerunner's donated trainer kite, but the US Postal Service lost the kite somewhere in their own building . After many searches, its still in gaseous form.

However we still have a huge training demand, and we need to get people started on kiting. some money has been trickling into our funds, so we would like to start looking at what's out there.

We need any complete trainer kite with a bar setup preferred. under $100 is a must (and I mean that haha). Let me know what you got!

Send a shoutout to Blade for the generous actions, regardless of the outcome!

Did you have a size in mind? For instance, the Imp trainer goes from 1.5M to 3.5M.

Anything below 4 would be great. Ideally I think 1.5-3 would be best.

There is a Beamer 3M at $130 (shipped) here:
http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=10719

It is on handles.

Read the details. If you are ok with that. I can have Angus ship you out a suitable new HQ bar for it. No cost to you, so you would come in $20 under budget.

You would of course be responsible for the armed escort to insure safe reception at your destination. I would recommend SAS-trained meerkats. ;)

Let me know if that works for you.

ATB,
Sam

Thats not bad, but we will need to raise more funds to get there. We simply don't have that money. I'll keep it in mind, and hound people for more fundraisers and ideas.

And A-firm on the mailing situation, I was thinking an apache escort for the ups truck taking it to my house....

P.S. could you explain the $20 under budget? I'm not following the figures so well. Thanks :)

It's the new math that is the result of me not getting enough sleep this week. :sniff:

I could have sworn that your original post said that your budget was $150. Not as bad as seeing elephants on the back roads of New Mexico, but apparently I need some downtime. :wow:

U2U me a phone number, and we can see what we can do to make this work.

Sam
