Nahant this weekend?

I know I can't get there Saturday but is anyone headed out this weekend on Sunday or Monday if you have the day off? Monday works better for me but the forecast looks better for Sunday.

Trying to decide if I should switch some appts on Sunday around to make time to head out if Monday is going to be a bust.

See you all sunday!!:singing:

Resonable argument Doublespeed. Although balast in 5-7 mph winds seems a bit odd:crazy:. Perhaps something else is at play. Might I suggest the joy of sharing the sport we love with the next generation.. See you all sunday :wee:

Today was a great day.

Nice to see old friends and meet a few new one's. Lots of buggys, a few boarders and some crazy 7 year old jumping :wow: tandem boarding, solo boarding:shocked2: and being taken for some wicked buggy rides :wee: (thanks Dan and Dean - he talked about those all the way to the highway).

That's a major bummer, Paul. Did you loose the kite or did it just drag you into the water? Pretty cold day to get wet. The wind was really picking up as I was leaving.

Shawn was all smiles. At first he was nervous about getting on the buggies but now he thinks I should buy one. If I could only find that money tree my dad was supposed to plant when I was a kid.

I'm glad Shawn had a good time. He's one fantastic flyer for only 7years old:thumbup:. By the time spring rolls around he'll be cruisin up and down the beach on his own . I bet if you made him an extra small buggy that was just his size he'd take off up the beach with his Sting passing every one of us:yes:. Hope to see all you guys next week!

Had a great time on Sunday. Met a bunch of people and saw some that I haven't seen in quite some time. I do hope to get out and fly more frequently.

John, you can't upload pics in the quick reply box at the bottom of the thread. You need to use the "post reply" button on the lower right side of the thread and then the "browse" button to add the attachement from the attachement line. 1 pic per response.

Anyone going to brave the cold and ride this weekend? Some reports saying winds in the teens others saying close to 30mph but all are saying West(ish) on Saturday. Tides are good. I might be able to sneak out for a bit if its not too cold and the winds not ballistic.

Brian

I am going to try to make it out today. I have a bunch of errands to do today, but if I get them done early enough I will be out. I have not flown in 3 weeks and want to get out this weekend.
