mountaon board wheels
does any one know if you can get extra wide wheels for an ATB. like a buggy has so you can ride on soft sand?:evil:

I have heard of some people modding boards for this, but Im not sure of any company that makes a direct fit. I would guess you could find bigger
rubber and tubes for existing rims.

do you think old wheel barrow wheels would doe the job if there pump up to a low pressure?

I heard that if you let a little air out of your tires (I put my tires down to about 2/3 of their max PSI) then they get better traction to the soft
sand.

contact Patrick McConnel @ MBS. he made a board a while ago w/some big orange tires and I've seen pix of him riding on the dunes (not w/a kite, just
mountainboarding)
you should be able to find his contact info on the website. if not, they're usually pretty good about returning emails.
