slipping buggy seat straps
The straps of my PL ST seat are slipping through the plastic adjuster buckles. The seat keep sagging and scraping my butt on the ground.
Maybe it is age, wear, saltwater?
Suggestions? (talc, velcro, new seat altogether?) It isn't my weight doing it! :ticking:

I have had that bummed out feeling.
Put a rubber band behind the buckle. when it is tight , fold the strap back over the buckle again and tuck it under the rubber band.

Try doubling back the the webbing like so, when I was into rock climbing we all did our harness like this.

If you have enough strap after the buckle, try taking it back to the front of the buckle and tying it back to itself. Might work.

Willard: The ST Comp seat buckles only have two channels. Maybe I need to reposition the buckle's position relative to the strap's pull over the buggy
side bars.

What the picture shows is what I was trying to explain. The rubber band creates the 3rd channel and holds the strap back.

I was going to say what WIllardTheGrey
said.. but since you have two buckles... if you have enought strat you can tie the extra strap back around the strap as it goes into the buckle.
This is what I do on the underside of the buggy for the straps that go around the axle. If this doesnt make sense I can try to draw a pictire

I got a bunch of those thick, elastic hair bands from Dollar Tree to try wrapping on the strap buckles. I figure they're heavier and more durable than
rubber bands - you just have separate out the girlie colors! :P

Never tried this, just thought of it.
Try rubbing the straps with wax. If you do let us know if it worked. The rubber band idea seems good too.

Hmmmm....Wax sounds more do-able than talc (esp. around water) or trying to stick/tape a rougher material over them.
