http://www.dakitez.com/servlet/the-Accessories-cln-DVD%27s/C... Has kite boarding DVDs. I've dealt with Dino before, he's a good guy.

If you can, consider finding a place to take lessons.

Hi Michele and welcome to the forum.

Tridude on this forum would be an excellent resource for you since he lives in North Charleston. He has assisted many of us with our kiting education. Pay attention to any reference to "SoFKA". This is an affiliation of kiters from North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. We routinely meet at various locations including Folly Beach and Sullivans Island. My Avatar was taken at one of these meet-ups at Folly early this summer. These meet-ups would be a great opportunity for you to learn and see a lot of different types of kites and equipment. Water, land boarding, and buggying are all represented.

Dino is a great guy. I have sent business his way and they were very happy.

You might also check acampbell, he posts here and I think might be pretty close to you.

I don't want to take business from Dakitez but if I had enough money to buy 2 kites I might buy one from each. Oh and a board and a buggy and some spare tires and .........

Yeah, I would have mentioned Angus since he's closer, but all he lists is land based kite DVDs, none for water kiteboarding. Angus is awesome as well though, and I'm sure he could order one for you.
