I installled the 5th line FDS recently on my 19m............during the process I checked the front and rear lines lengths 9At the mixer) with the bar down or in the fully powered position...........the front lines about 6 inches longer than the rears.............most likely stetch........should I shorten the main bow line (where the front lines connect at the depower strap) to make the lines all the same length? The kite is flying fine as is but if this adjustment is needed Ive been flying underpowered.................

why not stretching your rear lines the same length as your front ones.

I have done it before.


Ask your wife to hold the bar and tie the rear lines to your bumper car, then just drive a few inches !!!

Ok I am joking, you should be able to figure out a better way

hey just talked to a repair guy here and he said stretching rear lines by 1 inch or 2 is OK but not 6. he thinks too much

so may be you should shorten the front lines above the depower rope

or extend the rear leaders with some amsteel...........................thanks Buzz.............
