PL ARC Inverting Problem and self landing ?s

Ok guys I have gotten the hang of flying the Vennom II and I love it, but I have had a few problems.
My first question is about the kite inverting itself, and I feel like it happens when the kite gets a nice big gust and the kite overflies then drifts back and inverts itself, leaving the top as the bottom and the left being the right and it just gets ugly from there, it doesn’t happen often but its still no fun to reset, near impossible by yourself.
Second question, landing tips by yourself? Anyone have any good tips. I have tried the pulling of the kite killer but that just spun the thing like crazy and I still couldn't retrieve the kite.
Anything helps thanks guys!

should help with the landings

when the kite over flys either fly it to the side or give it a little back line tension or a combination of both.
there is a technique that allows you to re invert the kite, but it is pretty tricky.
you land it leading edge down then move towards it until it flips back over. but depending on which way it inverted your lines might be twisted, front through back. if this happens then id advise you to land it and reset, but personally, i unhook and thread the bar through the front lines above the depower strap. (WARNING THIS CAN GO TITS UP VERY QUICKLY!!!)

I've anchored my Guerilla to a dock and quickly and carefully unhooked the front lines (one at a time) and untwisted them. Fun.....in a "I better do this quickly and pray to God that the wind doesn't rip this line through my fingers in the process" kinda way

Thanks guys for the help, I have noticed that you can sometimes turn the kite or run up wind when it looks like she is going to flop. I will have to give the walking towards it another go next time it happens, I think I might have tried it once but the wind was too strong to get it to flip back, not the best feeling having a big ass kite straight downwind. Carl, on the landing trick it looked like you had a zero7 bar, is it the same procedure with the zero4? I think my leash is connected to the power line instead of one of the brake lines.
Thanks, Andy

Heres a trick that worked on old c kites getting to roll on their back. Might also work for you. If the kite is nose down on the ground reach up and grab as far up on the frontlines as you can and pull them in. Try and reach up with your other hand and grab some more and pull in. Once you have a bit pulled in just let it go, this with maybe a little running towards the kite might get it to flip. Just remember to watch your lines once you start pulling them in that they dont get wrapped around anything before you let loose on them.

Makes sense. These are sure great kites but they are a little harder then the foils to do some of the most basic skills, ie landing and reverse launching.

The past few times that I have gone out with the guys it has been fairly gusty and the kite wants to invert but when she looks like shes going over I just give a little tug on the power lines and it almost sort of sets it back to its normal shape and she dosn't flop. Good stuff guys, still working on when it does flip all the way or when it lands nose down.
Happy flying Gents!!
