longer kite storage bags?
Is there a storage bag that is the rocket launcher style that can store 2 or 3 PL kites at once with the spars still in them.
I'm getting really lazy and i almost never take out the sticks unless i'm going on a long trip. I'm scared that the kite fabric will get snagged on
something when i'm transporting them. I need a bag that can hold my two kites, so I can just roll them up and store them easier. Any shop owners out
their have anything like that?

ive managed to stuff 2 Syns (15m) into the original bag before, it was a tight roll.
too bad the PL Pro Bag doesnt have openings in the bottom to fit full length Arcs, you could easily fit in 3 or 4. we should make the PL Pro Bag v.2.0
with Arc users in mind. :duh:
Buy the biggest Arc and give away the kite, and keep the back pack.
I believe North Face makes a long bag, but also have you considered a Snowboard / Ski Bag too?

I was thinking something similar to the old guerilla style bags, but maybe a little bit larger so two kites could fit at the same time. Maybe without
mesh so the kite is completely protected.

Not sure what you mean by rocket launcher, but my Best kite bag has a liner inside that can pull out and extend the bag twice it's normal size.
Without that extra liner I can store my Waroo in there and cram my seat harness too.
It also has a zipper on bottom that unzips to extend bag a little more.
With it all unzipped I could fit at least two kites and maybe 3 in there (depending on size and style) But honestly it would be difficult to carry
then I think. It is set up backpack style. With it all extended and filled up it would stick way up over your head if you had in on like a back
pack. ;-)

If you follow Rip's advice feel free to toss the kite my way ; )
I have an old Rocket Launcher bag for my Guerilla and it just squeezes that kite and the V13 inside - spars inserted. The only thing I don't like
about it is that because it's such a tight squeeze there's risk of zipper conflict.

There's just something cool about being able to split up the Dakine BTS Bag
If you are worried about the rods damaging the canopy, have you looked at the Custom Replacement Spars
or considered storing/separating the spars in the smallest telescoping architectural tube that will accomodate them (yeah, you have to get over the lazy factor ;-))
If you end up going over the top and looking at golf cases, I would highly recommend the SKB Cases

I want to find something sleek like an old guerilla bag, but maybe a little bit bigger to accomidate 2 or 3 kites. that way i can carry harness,
bars, water bottles etc... in scorpion back pack and have all my kites rolled up together in another bag by themselves

Not sure about the diameter there. It is meant for the likes of stunters and Revs.

Didn't realize that was what you were leaning towards. That's generally aimed towards dual-line kites. HQ makes two versions of those.
I prefered the padded version. It is more rugged, zipper is stronger, and the bottom panel has a moisture barrier, so if you put it down on wet grass, it won't
soak through. HQ pulled it from there 2009 line, but said they might bring it back for 2010. Some places still carry it from last year and it also
shows up used, but not shredded for reasonable prices.
Folks also use multi-ski (meant to hold more than one pair) when they couldn't find the more expensive HQ bag. Sierra Trading often has those on sale.

I wouldn't say "thin or cheap", but there is definitely a difference. The diameter is also smaller, which might be more of a difference to you.
