That's a pretty damn impressive video. Amazing how the kite can just find its way back to 12 O'clock like that. Cool to see a kite stay in the air for that duration without any outside control to keep it there.

Yea theres no power there. He can fly directly through the power zone and not even be pulled. If he jumped in a buggy or landboard he wouldnt go anywhere.

Yes, snobdr is right. It's flying but no power. You actually probably could go in the buggy since its flying that high. You could just fly it agressively down in the window. I've flown my phantom in less winds than that and if the kite isn't just floating 30-45 degrees off the ground, you can make a little power with it.

Be interesting to see if the Charger can deliver on the low end claims. Hell, I'd be happy to be able to kitesurf in 10mph with the 19m strapless on a 6' 8" surfboard. (I'm about 205lbs)...I'll even do the walk of shame.

...still waiting for Peter Lynn to do a bridled water kite...I'm ok with losing the auto zenith for better low end...

Lunch once you get that light your better off wih a smaller kite that you can work through the zone then a big slow kite. Unless of course its a flysurfer speed.

maybe peter lynn vliegerop should cooperate with the guy who made the bridled "rein-arc":

http://rein-arc.be/?page_id=4

though it would be really sad to loose autozenit, i could live with that if

1. could get rid of the prefill (big claim, but that would be awesome - no more prefill...)
2. more power and mostly total depower

it would be even greater if the bridle tension could be adjusted in realtime, so that you just could release some adjuster, loosening the bridle, getting back autozenit ...

the video was nice, always impressed how scorps . turn

that is a small unit, in 10mph it can be "flown" but me thinks 30 mph would be a little more appropriate for "use"

bridled arc?? why?

Im still not an autozenith fan. A kite that can relaunch itself after a crash can be dangerous, just look at the thread in the kitesurfing section.
