A great Vimeo Video

Was surfing for videos and found this gem of a video of the Czech kitebuggy race team.
Some really good camera angles.
Someday.....I would love to fly the beach in Romo and I have relatives over there to boot.:thumbup::thumbup:

Mood: even when I have time to kite, I don't have time to kite

That is so cool. I've never seen so many buggies in one place let alone one race.

Where can I get a personal spy drone like the one at 5:30?

I love Nahant but rarely get there anymore.

Not particularly cheap, but very, very high on coolness/007 factor and carbon fiber goodness. Multiple camera payloads available and GPS lock to paste it in the sky.

Amazing! Now it comes with goggles ... it's like you are driving your own aircraft!
Foolproof stabilization feature is stunning too.
But the cost! The basic model is about 10 Canadian grand!
It is like 3 paragliders!

Need schmeed....

The real question is do you want it. ;)

More importantly, how much would it actually cost if you could get most of the part which seem to be significantly less than the complete package. The complete airframe is $200... The controlling circuit board is $400. 4 motors $44. Rotors $35.

You might not be able to get the slick touch screen controller, but a 10 Channel Spread Spectrum Heli Controller is around $650.

All of this is still waaaaaaay, below $10K.

Willing to be part of the pricing is because the target market is Law Enforcement agencies.....basically a civilian Predator.

Sam
