Congrats
Hey, if you can slide, there is enough snow, just watch out for bare spots - you might leave your skis behind
Supposed to snow here tomorrow, but as usual the forecast keeps changing.

Hey CanadaCoates, where are you located in Manitoba? I live just south of the border, about 2 hrs from Winnipeg in NW Minnesota. We just got dumped
on with about 4-5 inches of wet heavy snow. Just a suggestion, if you are thinking about picking up another kite, depending on your weight, you
might want to go a bit bigger than 8 meters. Once the snow gets deeper, it will take more power to pull you. Plus when you get a bit more
experienced, you'll want more power anyway. That 5 meter would still be ok for your high wind kite.
Just for reference, I use a 6M Access XC and an 11M Frenzy as my two main snowkites; i weigh about 185lbs. I could probably use a larger one for
light winds and deeper snow. Anyway, something to think about. Welcome to the sport!
