Bomber Shorts, what you using and Why?

I need new bomber shorts, real nice on the frozen lakes. I had a pair of 661's but never really fit well so on the look out for a new set. Any ideas?

Hill Billy Shorts is what I am currently wearing. Comfortable, pretty true sizing with a bit of latitude. Hard to tell you are wearing it sometime. Was really tired first day I got them home and tried them on... fell asleep in them . Woke up in the middle of the night and forgot I had them on except for the swish of the perforated nylon.

The Hillbilly shorts look good. I think the website is www.hillbillyprotection.com, don't know if there is a Canadian dealer. The sizing info is on the hillbilly site. Old school Cooperalls for hockey can sometimes be found at thrift shops.

There was a canadian company called Protaction that made protective gear (perhaps in XXXL). The dirtsurfer guys in Edmonton used to sell it,... not sure if they still do. www.dirtsurfer.com/en/productsprotaction.asp

A while back I ordered some Hillbilly wristguard gloves from www.xtrememotions.ca It looks like they sell the shorts as well.

I am using ProTec IPS Men's Padded shorts. They must have some funky aura because I haven't been spanked yet while wearing them  They fit under my snowpants and are not too bulky for the harness straps. They are comfortable but a little hot in the summer.

Hey Bill, you been out yet, was out today in the storm with the Scorpion. We got 4" of fresh snow and sweet 15 to 20 mph winds. One thing I know is I'm getting old, feet are sore as the field was pretty rough. Great day and even got some good air. Another week and I'll be on the Fawcett lake.
