kite jumping photos

So after thanksgiving weekend I finally have a few kitejumping photos courtesy of invertedforce and joeblinky. They are also editing a little video that will most likely be up in a few days. So here are a couple of pics from the video of me jumping

the wind here is so in and out, it's hard to get good consistent days to learn or practise tricks. And when i'm actually doing well and learning, i don't have anybody to take pictures or film. Very frustrating.

Indeed. Glad to have someone who experiences the same disappointment with the wind :D . Oh well, you do what you can with what you have eH? I've seen it as: if we can make do with crappy conditions we'll be a lot better because we can handle those days when the wind isn't so great. :Ange09:

We used to jump like that with 5m aces, you should just get a depower. It's so easy to jump and way more fun when riding on a board

Vid is up, but I'm reluctant to post because there is footage of me using an ARC for the first time, and its rather embarrassing. My nuts are hanging around for all to see, because of my tubular webbing harness that puts stress on inconvenient locations...

Maybe I'll recut the video and repost just Flyjumps' and joeblinky's sessions.

Glad I found this site I'm in RI people on racekites were hating a bit so here's my photo. First season in the game training with a beamer because i didn't know about aspect ratio when i bought it. Beamer 4 5.0 15 mph Brenton Point Newport RI. Also I'm 6'1" 190 lbs so that says something that it lifted me that high lol.

Hi bk1, welcome to the forum, I grew up in Pawcatuck, CT, right next to Westerly, RI. Since I started buggying this past year, I wondered about those RI beaches, misquamicut, watch hill, etc. Anyone ever buggy there? I live in upstate NY now, and haven't been back to that coast since acquiring this addiction..haha Hey... you like jumping? That 8.5M Savage in the for sale section looks to be the shizzy for jumping, and a great deal to boot! Please buy it before I do...

Can't say I've tried those beaches. Usually I stick to Brenton Point Newport on the weekdays otherwise it's crowded because it's such a small field not good for buggies. Another I go to is Colt State in Bristol, bit of a trek as it is further North. But Most I like Gansett beach after 5 when the toolish lifeguards go away pretty good to whip out the ATB near the skim so it should be awesome for a buggy.
