noSno products

I have been looking at buying a new landboard lately and and I came across the noSno site which offered products I'd never seen or heard of before.

http://www.nosno.com/snosite/index.htm

I'd like to know if anyone else has owned or ridden any of these boards. They have a full lineup of kite specific boards, but they are pretty expensive compared to some of the MBS and GI lineups.

Let me know what you think...

Weird.... I was looking at that site last weekend.

The main thing that freaks me out is that almost all the boards seem geared towards the board staying with you in a bail.

The most interesting thing is the bindings look like they are either pivot adjustable or free pivoting.

They top off at 10" for the wheels, so that's another inch of ground clearance.

It's interesting that you can tweak the height, length & width on the upper tier board.

Wish they had more details on the components. :sniff: :puzzled:

If you think the boards are expensive, wait till you pull the quotes on shipping.

They are quite a few landboards that you don't really see too much of on this side of the Atlantic. In a lot of cases, the smaller board manufacturers would lose a lot of margin on shipping, and they are leery about that. It's something that larger companies aren't quite as prone to.

ATB,
Sam

Good points, I noticed the larger wheels and the binding differences. I dont think they actually come with bindings, but you are supposed to be able to use your own snowboard bindings if you have them. To me this means that crashes would be painful cause you are locked in.

As far as the price goes, land boards aren't cheap. But their low end models were not cheap and their high end are worse at 949.99 Euros

Ah yeah I've seen that design around - they were trying to do one better on the standard truck designs out there ... can't remember where I was reading about it but they look damned bullet proof!

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Some love em' some hate em'. They're usually heavy and most use a full strap-in binding vs. a traditional MBS or GI binding. Once you're in you're in.
