I have both kites and have flown them, not so much...(not my favorites)
Savage is not a beginner kite, a lot of kick your a$$ attitude, I have a 6.5 and the 8.5. lots of power and lots of lift for jumping. The 6.5 is very
quick in turning and the 8.5 is a little slower but still quicker than you would guess for that size. Been caught off guard a couple of time and got
spanked by the 6.5. I would say the kites are great buggy jumping kites with a lot of speed, You will need to ride the brakes a bit in gusty wind, it
like clean air. Overall not a bad kite for the price.
EVO 2, I have the 10m. Depower is not my favorite but it is nice in low winds and not as quick in the turns as I had hoped for(compared to FB kites),
I do like the kite for learning to use a ATB and the buggy is OK for just cruising the beach. I would say it is a beginner to intermediate depower
kite.
