delta waroo

Is the delta kite the future? Seems all manufacturers are making them. What make em so great? How do they compare with other kites, IE Bow, SLE, C?

Looking at the charts it seems it has less wind range then last year. So the only plus is easier relaunch? How does it compair to other types of kites? Flying performance and such?

Interesting that they would not keep the Waroo and bring the delta out with a new name. They kept a C kite you would think they would keep a bow.

Delta does seem the way of the future ?

Lou is a visionary ! There has to be something to it for him to get behind the idea !

Best already has a Delta kite its called the Kahoona. It seems to be marketed towards the beginner.
The Waroo is more of a hybrid now i would guess.
They didnt really keep a C-kite, they brought back the Team C for O9 basicly a yarga. They dont seem to market it in 2010.
Most all of the other major companys have kept a C-kite as their performance or freestyle kite, Slingshot Fuel, Naish Torch, North veagas.
Anyway back to topic....
Can anyone here compare the flying characteristics of a delta to other kites?

From my signature you can see that I have 2 Slingshot Fuels (Traditional C kites) The only arc I have flown is a PL Bomba 17m.

Short comparison of these 2:

Bomba-
Slower Turning
Slower Overall Feel
Smooth power transition
Sits further back in the window

Fuel-
Quick to turn
Huge power transition
Aggressive

Both-
Both kites are actually similar in a way. Both have line attachments on a flat wing tip (Bomba on sticks and the Fuel on a flat wing tip edge) Both kites power up similar and have a direct feel on the bar. (Because of lack of pulleys and direct line attachment) The difference, which is directly a result of the kite design, is in turning, speed, and overall feel of the kite.

I have not had the chance to ride anything with them, and I have flown both in an average of 10mph winds. Basically I felt the Fuel was a more powerful, faster Bomba. I would really like to comapre a Fuel to a Synergy or Charger though.
