Question about Neo II

I understand that the Neo's are ram air De-power foils, but how does one get the air out once their done flying. Is it a zipper type opening like the Peter Lynn Arcs have? I'm not familiar with the Neo. There doesn't seem to be much specific information about them on the net, just general pictures and descriptions. I know a few of you guys own Neos, so wondering if you could chime in. Sorta interested in an 11meter for land and water.

Thanks,

Rob.

Even with the zipper open, the kite takes a bit to deflate... At least this was true with the Neo Is... :)

No, not really. Open the zipper which is at the center of the back, fold the tips to center with bridles inside, roll the tips up around the bar towards the folded center and the air rushes out as you roll. when done, you have a 6'/ 2m long tootsie roll that you fold in 1/2 or 1/3'rds. and put in the bag. Nothing could be easier or more convenient except maybe a Peter Lynn ARC

CORRECTION: Angus didn't have it right.
I mis-spoke in my post but it sounds like people understood what I meant.

I said "fold tips to center" but I meant to say fold in half TIP TO TIP. That way when you are rolling the kite from the tips around the bar, you are rolling up towards the open deflate zipper. This is like a Peter Lynn Twinskin ARC (but I do not roll up the bar since I move it from ARC to ARC)

ragden, I did not mean to sound so contrary, I just found this works best for me.

Have a Happy New Year all
