building a pair... would this skates work good?

hi

i just startet kiting but i'm adicted already

after surfing the net a bit i came @ doomwheels

they look cool and for me i inlineskated already over 10 years

so i'm building a pair

but i have many old pair of skates. iwas thinking to use my old agressive skates USD throne http://www.kerjean.com/SKATES/USD/throneRandySpizer-B.jpg
because they are verry strong and fit perfectly.

the only drawback is that they are heavy to wear
i hope thiw will not bring to mush of a problem

i will be posting some pics when they are build ((waiting for the wheels to come in)

Heavy skates are no problem at all and may even be an advantage if you like speed. I have one pair that is over 35 lbs. It's still lighter than most buggys and the weight is distributed on 4 wheels. Good luck.

Yes, post pics! We love to see 'em.
