Well here I am again.
Had blade out again in less wind this time and did manage to stay upright this time. Have fitted killers as advised (thanks to all for advise). I may
be a bit of a senile old sissie but I still dare not hold the handles right at the top , instead prefering to hold slighty down towards brake lines to
give me a bit of brake all of the time.
Until I get my bottle back, and the rest of the gravel out of my arms would it be possible to shorten the brake lines a whisker so that i can hold the
handles with my finger over the main lines but still have a bit of easy to apply brake.

Sure can. You can pull the line (kite line) further up the line (handle line) and tie a new knot on the handle line. then your brake lines will be
shorter. You should really be flying with your first finger above the power lines.
