We are heading up to Great Barrington in the berkshires of Mass. on Friday. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good spots to kite/ kite ski up there?

Not likely I think that is to far west. We are coming from CT. so we will go 91n to 90w I think.

oh... if you were headed this way i was gonna maybe suggest meeting up. which i've been meaning to do anyway, we do live kinda close. anyways have fun up there, i'll u2u you when the weather gets a little better...:cool2:

I don't know of any good spots, but if you discover something I might swing by, it's a short trip for me.

I will not have internet there. We are still stuck in the desktop world. No portables yet.
But tomorrow the wind should be good for some fun. I hope we find a spot. There is a golf course a couple miles from where we are staying. I may try to see if they throw me out of there! Most allow CC skiing. So why not blading with a kite?

We found a place to play a few miles up RT.7 it is a fairly large lake with a decent wind. I believe it is called Pattoonac lake. By the time we got there it was 3pm. and the wind was getting sketchy but it was fun. Snow blades on rough ice are a real work out!!
