Cabrinha slingshot control bar
Have recently bought a 2nd hand slingshot control bar, can anybody point me in the right direction for info on this bar , with regard to depower
functions and the proper use of.
Experience is something you get, just after you need it!

Is it a Slingshot bar or a Cabrinha bar? Each one of those is a distinct brand.
Cabrinha's had the Recon, Recon2, 3 different Powerdrive bars, and the IDS bar.

Slingshots's had the Profire, Fullstroke, Directdrive, and new Compstick bars.

That's a Cabrinha Powerdrive 121 bar and its used for 4 line depower kites.

that's the bar (at least same) I had on a Cabrinha 2008 LEI
- to depower pull the red ball bungee strap
- to restore power pull the black ball bungee strap
BTW I hate these bungee straps, always in the way
- The red cap just above the chicken loop is to release safety
- Dont FORGET to connect your leash. I can't see in the picture here but you should have a ring on a rear or front line to connect it.

slingshot was the name of one of cabrinhas kites. They replaced it with the switchblade.
