Tedlar (sail) repair tape

i got about a 9 inch tear in my kite. I was just wondering if anyone here had a shop and wanted to sell me some.

Thought I'd check here before I went on eBay.

EDIT: Nevermind guys, my dad bought me some and just told me.

I have some if you need.

You can also go to a local marine store and get sail repair tape, which is what the KiteFix tape is.

Dude! Those Manta Rays are crazy! Whatcha think of it?

(I bought a roll of sail tape....works like mad. You'll never feel anything as sticky in your life....except situational stickyness after calling her the wrong name........)

There is a West Marine on North Summit in Toledo, they'll carry sail repair tape. The West Marine near me has it available in multiple colors and brands so I'm sure you'll find something that works for you.

I sold it about a year ago, about a month after selling it I was on eBay looking to buy another.
I REALLY wish i didn't sell it cause i got so good at it and it was just so much fun.
Thats what got me into flying in the first place.

EDIT: Nevermind guys, my dad bought me some and just told me.

I'm not that big a fan of tedlar tape and would recommend the dacron tape or spinaker tape over tedlar. Tedlar is a clear tape and pretty sticky but more rigid and a bit heavier than dacron. I like if if forced to make a repair on mylar but if the sail itself is torn I'd go with dacron tape over tedlar and if it were neeeded on a part of the sail tht didn't have much load on it I would use straight CA / super glue and just overlap the torn ends a hair, use scotch tape on one side to hold the tear in proper alignment and run a thin bead of super glue over the tear on the other side. But get it right the first time as there is no going back. I use to use tape and found all tape peels and collects dirt over time. CA glue takes some time to prep but will last forever if done right. I knew of a guy who tore a rev right in half and used CA glue to repair it and it has been flying for years. That convinced me and I swithced to CA glue about 8 years ago and always prefer that when possible - cheap, easy to come by, super strong and dries clear and flexible.
