What a crappy day
It is raining for the 3rd day straight. Therefore no work or play. No grandaughter here to play with either so I'm here being annoying. Sorry for
that. But good posts today from all.

its raining here too, quite heavily and my sump pump hole is filling up but my exterior sump pump hose is plugged up with ice. Spent 30 minutes this
morning with a torch trying to thaw it but no success. So not only is the snow gone, the ice unsafe, the weather crappy, my flippin sump pump is now
going to flood my house if I don't get home in time tonight to cut the hose and replumb a new one. :flaming:

Tell me about rain- I live in Washington state. We don't get tans here, we rust. Some Portland designers list damp as a color.

No sun since Sunday... sharing B-Roc's weather.... wind advisories in for today and tomorrow.... winds are supposed to hit 60mph closer to the
shore... woo hoo.
Walking the dog is a mud wrestling exercise, but she loves to be toweled off, often making very un-dog-like noises. Waiting for the neighbors to
phone it in and report the unregistered Wookie we are keeping.
Just ordered another GI bag, some tweaking supplies, and finished up the toolkit.
Have to check the tree trunk this evening to see how the nut and seed supply is doing for the rest of the winter.
Should just get a towel for work, as horizontal rain means getting soaked no matter what precautions are taken. At least it's not a multi-day slog in
the rain.
Spring is just around the corner...at least that's the theory.

Sam

Here in DE we are on the edge of a very large storm, not getting much snow right now, but supposed to really pick up tonight and snow till Saturday.
Winds are way up, steady 18-20 going to be 35-40 by tonight with gust to 60! Have not even seen the grass for three weeks till Monday. Kiting is
definitely out till the ground either drys out or freezes!
I definitely need a good kiting day, I think I will give kite skiing a shot this weekend if the winds are not nuclear!

I wish the snow would move north a bit. So far this week we have had over 4" of rain and averaged 35F Not good for anything but the ducks.
