Me and my buddy used to do that with our homemade stunt kites - if you dropped your kite and had to reset it, you were fair game ... of course, if you
dropped your kite ramming the other guy, YOU became the target. The skill lay in whacking your buddy and keeping flying 
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...
