Although it worries me so many newbie kiters (really don't know if that includes you are not) are asking about jumping I will give what advice I can.
I know static flying gets boring after awhile and most new power kiters want to get the thrill of grabbing some hang time sooner or later.
Jumping is really a matter of technique and timing but having the right kite helps. For this I would probably recommend a Flexifoil Blade III or Mac
Bego 600, although under the right conditions I have had some nice swings with my Ozone Samurai and even my 5 meter Beamer. It seems to be the general
consensus and I would agree that kites in the 4 and above meter range work best. Under that and they tend to put you back down too hard.
As far as how to actually jump or pendulum swing, it's probably best to get some help on field. But here is a good instructional with a nice diagram:

You can get good jumps with either. It just takes a different technique with each. I personally like my fixed bridle kites (cant tell that from
looking at my sig) The easiest way I have found to jump it so park the kite overhead, back it down in the window using brakes. The lower you go, the
more speed you get for the jump. When your ready, step backward, and give the kite a good snap to get it moving. YOU MUST DIG IN AND NOT BE PULLED
FORWARD. If you get pulled forward ,you lose your power. You must stay in place and build tension on the lines on the way up. If you have enough
kite, and enough wind, you will be lifted when the kite gets back overhead. This is the easiest way, but not the best. You can get better jumps with
a pendilum, but much harder to do.

the best jumps seem to be in lighter winds, 12-20 mph . on kites 14 and up
in the inflatables. or the larger foils 6 and above. the key is to be able to cruise around fairly slowly with mega power with your kite high. simply
reverse your kite a bit and pow your lofted. the larger the kite the more canopy you will have to float under on the way down.
