How do you guys get the vids to embed (show the vid in the post) ?
Ive tried the copy past embed link for you tube vid just comes out as text,
i looked in the faq and did not see the light.
any help ?

you have to type [ youtube ] and then [ /youtube ] without the spaces between the text and the brackets.

Then between the tags, put in the video's reference line ONLY.
For example, this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuoCZZkiqRw
would be [y... ] FuoCZZkiqRw[/y ]

When done correctly, it should post as embedded. I don't know if vimeo or any other website is supported through PKF, I think only youtube.

Here is a thought that might help, but I don't know the answer. Pick a thread that has a video. Then in the upper right corner of that box is the quote button. When it goes to quote it will show you the specifics of how that video was posted. I haven't tried it but I have seen it.

When posting, just click the little formatting tool button that looks like a TV. Enter the YouTube movie ID number in the pop-up prompt - click OK - a code tag will be added to the text body field. Submit the form when you have finished typing your message.

Note: Formatting tools are not available with the quick response form at the bottom of a thread page. You must click the Reply or New Post button to access formatting tools.
