Out on a broken limb...

I am going to respond to an age old question and then I will answer it myself. I will step on some toes, I will piss some off, and I will hear about it for a long time to come.

Question,
What kite do I need to break my neck, and get the beach where I did it at closed, and who do I sue in the end.

Answer,
No answer available.

How many idiots video's have we watched and how many times has it been said "don't", but the responses keep coming?

We don't need this kind of person in this sport. Try to deal with the government in opening up beaches to our sport that have in the past been closed to the sport, this type of attitude will keep the beaches and many parks closed to all of us for ever more. Ever tried to get life insurance? Not all sports are allowed to be covered. Die sky diving and your loved ones get nothing, unless you have paid for that coverage only.

A simple "I can't help you" is the usual response on this end of the phone or email that I get. Am I the only one with this attitude? I can't change Jonesband anymore than anyone else and, sorry to say, someone who wants to hurt themselves and the sport.

Just my 2 cents.

A voice in the wilderness  IMO so long as people get both sides of the story, they can then make up their own mind and be held accountable for their own actions ... this is how it should be ...

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Especially when someone runs a shop, I can't blame you. If they hurt themselves they will probably come after you.

Kiteboarding doesn't even count as a sport in the UK its classed as a "dangerous passtime"

People should be responsible for their own lives anyway. If you engage in an obviously risk based activity then you obviously have to accept the risks
