Seattle/Portland area

I am in Seatac, WA right now babysitting my brothers kids while he is in Germany. I can probably get some free time to go kiting in the surrounding Seattle area between now and March 22nd but after that I am here for 2 weeks with no responsibilities and wouldn't mind hitting up the Portland area.

Any land kiters in the NW that know some good spots and/or want to meet up? I am guessing it is too cold to kite on the water but I am still a beginner on the water so I would need to rent gear if I did that.

Let me know look forward to kiting up here!

joeblinky, there are a handful of places around you can kite/buggy/board at, and a couple of good ones also. I'm about 10 minutes from you in Renton. I have a lot of extras if you are interested.

Appex buggy, Libre hardcore buggies.
Flexboardz. Blokarts.
PKD Century Soulflys. NPW's. Nasa Stars.
A few other less flown oddballs,
Line sets from 10" to 328" or 2m to 100m.
worlds only AQR that works.
North American distributor for PKD.

Sic man!

When do you want to go???

The only wind i see is up to 16mph tonight in Renton. Don't see much in the next week though.

Seems like with these micro-climates there is a always a windy spot within a few hours drive. Is that usually the case?

As soon as it stops raining,

Ya, I left the house the other day with my new 11m and 15m NPW9 and the wind was just enough to tell it was moving, got to the park and 20 to 25mph. Well to say the least I only had the big boyz and decided to go to work instead :flaming:
