So I went up to Play it again sports today to get some stuff on sale, plus had a 20% off coupin. So I was wearing my kiting jacket and had found a great pair of catchers knee and shin gaurds for scudding mishaps. And I was telling the owner why I was buying the old scraped up ones. His eyes popped open with excitement. So I hyjact his store pc and braught up PKF. When I left he and a couple of the guys working for him were wild eyed looking through the gallery pages.
I think he is hooked. He was asking tons of questions and was totaly excited.

Cool, I wish I could get some people interested around here.

Had a couple come ask about kites in the field the other day.

One lived an hour away.

The other was a not very good English speaking guy. Small feller, maybe Chinese or Japanese. Probably from the collage.

But he ran up and reached for the handles and was saying I want to try, about three times. I landed and asked if he'd flown before, the answer was no.

The GF had the P3 out and I said wait and I'll let you try the one she is flying. Well he started towards her so I got the KK 's off and he already had the kite and she was walking to the car.

I went on to help him, he got it going a few times and running around going weee weee weee.

Had to keep moving him from the tress and luckily the wind died. So he gave up and went on his way.

Later I was sort of laughing about the weee thing and she told me he had walked up and grabbed the handle straps from her without saying a word.

Kind of pissed me off but he was gone and probably didn't know that could get him an @ss whipping. But next time I'll be watching a stranger a little closer.

But I think more people would like power kites if they knew about them.
