Waste Harness

Hey Guys,

Looking to pick up another waste harness. Round 36" Ummm depends on where the heck you measure. My pants aint no 36.

I use a Prolimit in large now but its pretty tight. I'm at the max on the L and min. on the XL.

I need to find something that clips on without having to deal with straps. Yep clip and Velcro. Spreader bar also would be nice.

I haven't really searched the web for one, just thinking of buying used if someone has one collecting dust.

While I'm here, sweet thang is looking also. Clips and velcro. She is 32" to 34" ,,, again where do you measure on a female? My mens large seems to fit her. But she don't like the way the back pushes down on her rump.

Laters.

I was going to recommend the Ozone harness since its open in the back. HR, you just can't get a break from it can you?

I'm worried that my family is now going to find out that there is flatulence filtering underwear! :embarrased:

Not particular kite related, but....

When I was working at a company complex North of Dallas, several rooms on each floor of the buildings was labeled "Proposal Room"

I always thought it was cool that the company allowed for the fact that co-workers might be dating and set aside rooms to facilitate them taking the plunge into marriage. ;)

Im not sure what you mean by straps, but I have a Mystic Warrior II and the only straps I have are just to set the size of the spreader bar buckle. The mystic harnesses are really really nice, they have a seatbelt-style lock that just snaps into place and its good to go!

There is a stretchy velcro strap on the inside to keep it snug until you snap in, and then once you snap, its ready to go!

Mine has straps that you thread thru the end of the spreader then back thru a buckle on the side. Has this on both sides.

Its a pain to put on and you can hardly reach the side buckle to run the straps through it. They are wide and stiff. You can work up a sweat dealing with this thing.

What size and price? You can U2U if you like.

Wow, those are some awesome prices on the Dakine stuff.

My mystic was a bit pricey, ~$180, but its the 2009 Ruben Lenten Model, was brandy spankin' new!
Its got tons of padding, very comfortable, and the clicking spreader bar is a breeze! Well worth the look, if you want something comfy. I'd look for lightly used if you don't want to spend the money to get a new one, but buyer beware, I've heard some bad stories of people buying used harnesses that weren't too safe.

I know in rock climbing they say never to buy a used harness, don't know if that translates all too well into kiting, but its something to consider.

I bought my Mystic through live2kite (dot) com and their shipping was free and fast, plus no sales tax! I highly recommend them!

//Edit//
Sorry if I mislead you, I'm not trying to sell you my harness, I was just telling you its a great option if you're looking to deal with less straps. The clicker makes suiting up quick and removing the harness is just as quick and easy.
