Thought this community would like to know
Hi all. I am posting this to let this group of fine folks know about a issue that I am sure you are tired of hearing about. The community at Rev kites
is dealing with the seller on the 'bay with slanderous links. John Barressi, a Friend of mine, has finally gotten some resolution from the 'bay about
this problem. Here is the link to the thread on the Rev forum:
http://www.revkites.com/forum/topic/3857-thought-yall-might-...
Since JB has basically told the Rev community that he wants to put it all behind him and go on to better things, and I think you guys would have fun
with it. That person, human, good for nothing, waste of good flesh set up new "forums" to "legitimize" his knock off POS products. I
say to put as many good links for good info on kiting in general, honest evals on good products, and make his "forums" into a ad for the things he is
fighting against. Here is the links to the two forums:
PKF EDIT: links removed

Don't really get where you're going with this? I think we've all reported him to ebay multiple times (at least a dozen times myself) - to the point
where he had to start a new account and buy a bunch of feedback to try and legitimize himself. "and make his "forums" into a ad for the things he is
fighting against. ", is what I'm not understanding. The forums are all locked and full of junk cigarette and porn adds - let him wallow in the filth
that he created and be only reference when asked by those that do not know.

This was at the end of the kitelife forum thread posted by the administrator. Very encouraging.

Wow
I couldn't find a phone #
I found it very frustrating that there is no way for me to find out how Ebay responded to my ( and many others ) repeated complaints about this guy.
Enough that I'm totally turned off of Ebay. I wished they had a way I could communictae my frustration with them?

It is a multi-step process (and you have to be signed into your account).
Go to the eBay Home Page
In the upper right hand corner, click Help > Contact Us.
This will take you to a page where you can try to describe your problem, and it will search for a solution.
Well.. Damn it, Jim... I want to talk to a person. Preferably with a sexy female voice, like back on the ship.
OK, so I type something it won't find a solution for... say "GribbleDish"
A few eBay computers in North Dakota catch fire and blow up trying to figure out what I meant. But then it displays a "Call Us" button. (Call
hours are 5am - 10pm PST, 7 days a week)
When you click the "Call Us" button, it displays a phone number to call, and provides a PIN number.
The call will not complete with the PIN number, and the PIN number is only good for 15 mins (at which point you must restart this monkey dance).
In fairness, it is probably to protect eBay Customer Service from having to deal with folks suffering from buyer's remorse or other ailments
which may of may not be of their own devising.
Hope that helps.
ATB,
Sam

Update! JB contacted the webhost of those so called forums and found that they were in violation of TOS rules. They have been yanked off line and and
you now get a 404 not found message if you try to log on. Score another victory for the kiting community!
