Flysurfer Bar

I have a Pulse with the standard bar and would like to upgrade the chicken loop. Is it possible to get the infinity bar chicken loop separately?

This may be of some interest:
Flysurfer Bar Help

You miight want to contact John Elkins at Powerzone Kite Sports to see what options are available to you.

Powerzone modded a FS outlaw bar for a friend (Sean) with a metal insert to replace the current hole in the bar. Sean replaced the chicken loop with the Ozone megatron one. Works like a charm.

Will post a pic later if I can find. Used to have one.

Keeping the 5th line capability is a must. The North Iron Heart III looks nice. I have noticed the II for sale as a chicken loop alone. Does it look like any big difference?

North Iron Heart III Manual (Go to page 11)

North Iron Heart II Manual (Go to page 7)

Basically between the II and III, they have done some refinement that might have some impact on long term durability and convenience.

  1. They have streamlined the chicken loop lock with what looks like a rubberized armor coating.
  2. The have added a cover (vinyl?) on the lines that the tophat travels over to minimize abrasion.
  3. The attachment between the depower lines and the chicken loop goes through a plastic and metal "roto-head" that you just rotate (section 4.4 of the manual) to clear twisted lines after a rotation jump or kite loop.

This popped up on KiteForum regarding the Iron Heart (all versions) chicken loops.

I have never used the Iron Heart.... all of the above is just geek gophering due to insomnia.

Thank you for gophering. It is amazing how much time can be spent looking up this stuff. I have been gophering too on pricing. I can only find the III for sale as a replacement in the UK for 90 pounds. I can find the II here in the states at a few places for around 90 dollars.
I have been looking at the Ocean Rodeo chicken loop that is also a push-away release.
I have not been able to find Flysurfer Infinity bar parts at all......Now it is midnight. Time to turn the computer off.
