shopping

i have just recently got in to traction kiting, and am looking to get a few more kites. i was wondering how to find the least expensive places, outlets, methods to buy.

i'm thinking about maybe just checking online kite shops for basic price range, and then search out ones near the bottom of that range. however, online retailers probably won't offer sales, and specials.

knowing a target retail range, ebay seems like a good outlet. i've just recently seen some (i think)decently priced ozone sams.

and then there is the *make it yourself* method. i think i'm gonna try this for my first true buggy kite, a Nasa Wing. well any input would be appreciated. and anyone with nasa wing build experience, any feedback from you would be awsome.

thanks,

Maybe look for an Ozone Samurai on eBay. I love my 5m Sam. There are some folks that really like Nasa wings, but I have heard the bridles can be a bit of a challenge and they are more of a downwind pull kite (harder to edge).

Yeah, Ebay is the future! You can get some amazing deals, and could probably get 2 good kites for the price you would spend on one in the shop
