look at plyboards... thats as cheap as they come... youre prob not going to find anything less than $200, unless you like to build stuff

stuff in the category you wanting from generally, very hard to ride & and complete novelty. most will just frustrate you . old wake
boards,skim boards, wake skates, homespun stuff, crazy surf board and ply junk. fun from all of it but daily ride or starting out avoid it.
something that will work = $200 gonna get you something for sure

I made a plydoor and only payed for some polyurethane and $10 litewave straps. Plywood was from the dumpster, 3 layer, non marine, non pressure
treated. Works fine, especially in light wind.

Might want some cheap plastic fins, I'm thinking about getting some for my plydoor to make it easier to stay upwind. Straps are bindings.

If you want it for lightwind then no. Rocker makes it easier to go in chop and waves by naturally keeping the tips of the board off the water. The
downside to that is you lose the amount of surface area exposed to the water so you get less float. I have no rocker in mine and it doesn't bother me.

I realized that there are no boards out there for under 100 so I changed the post, I have seen some go for 150....

My understanding is that getting a proper beginner board (meaning big) is pretty important if you are just starting out. I think you probably want
something in the 140 cm or larger, but I'm not an expert.
