Oh man, Thats the one I always think about, 5m Ace.
GF's son jumped out with his 5m Ace the other day, gusty as crap. I said boy you better think this out. He said I'm going to get a feel for the wind
then fly the 7m Ace. I said honey you better stop him.
I didn't have time to get the camera and he done ran the lines out, pulled the kite, went back and grabbed the handles, I said honey, the wind is too
strong for that. She said, you don't want to do that.
He launched anyway, straight down wind, went right to the top, scudding, then parked it there. With in 2 seconds his butt went straight up. I guess
his feet was 10 to 15' up.
By some stroke of luck, it let him down easy. He then realized the wind was to gusty and flew a 3m. Scared the crapola out of him and us.
I reminded him of that same video above. The problem was he had a great session on the Ace a few days before. Nice jumps and scuds. Steady wind, a
perfect day for flying. Thought he could do the same I guess.

he got schooled in the power of the wind. And those ACES like to be high in the window and snatch yo a$$ off the ground . That is what they were made
for. But w/ a 5m ,a gust of say 10 more mph than your highest safe windspeed can put you in jeopardy real fast. Gotta watch them ACES. They can, and
will bite ya.
