An HQ apex II is probably my next depower. I'll get the 7.5 for dry lake use, and that would be perfect for the winds you describe. No lift and an economical price. Several have tried them in the buggy and swear by them.

Sorry.... missed the Pulse being sold.

Have you considered letting Dino hook you up with an Apex II 10M ?

He currently lists the 7.5M as one of his favorite buggy engines. There is some NABX footage of Chris hauling with one of the Apex IIs and it looks stable as all get out.

I'll more than likely pull that trigger...just didnt know if anyone had a good one to offer up before I did. It's actually just now hitting me that no matter which way I get one, it's not going to be PL :shocked2:

i saw the venoms there and that 19 is tempting, VERY tempting but I dont think im ready for an arc just yet.

I had just a tad of depower experience before I first launched my Phantom, and I'm glad I did but in hindsight, I'm not sure it really made much difference. Wind speed on your first launch is key. Not too much but just enough. The 8m venom is gone to OOBE field SC I understand.

I might be considering parting with my 12m Outlaw sometime in the not-so-distant future... if you are interested drop me a u2u. Kite is definitely used, but no damage. Still looks great. No idea what this kite would sell for.

Don't do it before Wildwood, Michael, I was counting on you to at least stay close to Ricardo,(and Dean, Paul and those other Mass. speed demons!)

LoL. Yer funny. I couldnt keep up with those guys last year. Though, I didnt have my S3 last year...

Don't worry, I'll still be flying/riding fast and hard, regardless of what I am flying. I probably wont sell my Outlaw until I have a replacement for it, which, most likely, wont happen before the Buggy Bash.

Who knows though... I might fall in love with the P4s next week (I'm borrowing a couple from a friend for my week long trip to OBX), and I might have to buy one. In which case, I'll be flying that instead... But its hard to compare against the Outlaws, which are just really fun kites to fly (not to mention just look cool as all heck in the sky)...
