PL Scorp windrange and bar sizing
I'm thinking of filling the quiver with a smaller scorpion and was wondering if a 10meter and 16 meter are a good match without too much overlap. Also
was wondering if my zero 7 bar that I use with my 16meter would work fine (that way I can look out for a good deal on a kite only situation). If
anyone can provide any input it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks A Lot

The 10 and 16 should match up well. Not sure about the exact wind range but I think the 16m has a range of 5-15 knots. The 10m 10-25 knots.
I'm sure the twin skin riders will correct me, but I think that's close (at least for land use). Not sure about the bar though.

Use the arc calculator!
Bar should be ok although (apparently) you'll need to add pigtails to the rear lines - easy to make out of Q-power line ...
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I have flown the 10M on my 16M bar with no problems but personally found the 10M a little twitchy compared to the 16M. Still prefer my Sabre 9.5M to
fill that gap, mine is the Sabre 1 with a few mods and is a great kite especially in the winter. I till this day have probably spent more time in the
air in the buggy with the Sabre just because I know it so well, cruises nicely in the pocket or turns on nicely for free styling.
The Sabre II on here for sale is a super kite with all the bugs worked out and goes up in little air and has a pretty good range very nice lift and
float really missed mine when it got damaged by my own stupidity...lol.

big bar, small kite . works fine. just makes to smaller kite even faster turning. keep your hands close to the center to reduce the super mad
fast effect.

I prefer bigger bars all round. Aparently I like twitchy kites... so big thumbs up :bigok:
