Starting Out

Hi
I am new to power kiting and landboarding however have flown stunt kites and mountainboarded in the past.

I am 16 and 58kg, and I am having problems choosing the right kite. I have looked at a couple including:
HQ Beamer 3m
Peter Lynn Hornet 3m
I only have a small Budget and would like a kite I can carry round easily and will provide a thrill on a kiteboard, while still being easy to set up and fly.

Any help or reviews would be great.

Those are both good beginner kites and you may have some fun with them. Another option near the same price range would be a twister 3m. Though would be probably on the high end as a first kite with your weight.

I agree with Superdog. The Ozone FLOW is a great beginner kite. They are priced a little higher than the other two kites you mentioned, but are well worth the extra money. I own the 3m and 5m myself.

I decided to get an Ozone flow as it was on ebay for a great price. Think i will just have to practice in low winds to start as it is the 4m.

Have fun with the 4m! Start in low winds and work your way up. Can pull like an absolute train in higher winds!

That's only the beginning next comes your second kite then a harness then the buggy or landboard, then more kites, etc........
I'm glad you liked the Flow, they are great kites.
