flexifoil wide tires???

i live in nebraska and all we have are sand hill beaches, not verry hard in the summer time. in the winter the soft sand blows off and there is a hard layer of clay.
what i need to know is if i spend the money on a wide tire settup is that going to be good enough for soft sand. i wish i cld make a bigfoot atachment.

You can get the BF tires from tires unlimited for $33 a piece and mount em on your rims you have. I believe a PL BF fork is a direct swap on the flexi buggies...

We have really soft dunes around here and Flecht rode all over the place with his bigfoot tires. I couldn't go anywhere with my tires. someday I will get bigfoots too.

It is a direct swap if you include the PL Downtube, whose bolt holes and spacing are a match for the Flexi frame.

Buggy frames are great at tearing up boxes from the inside out in shipping, and bolts can fall out.

Drew tell me what bolt you need and I have it or can get it. Also look up a local industrial fastener supplier that will know to supply the proper size, thread pitch and grade.

It's a question of degree. Wide tires will help a lot and BF's even more. We have hard-pack like concrete at low tide but the wide tires help in the soft sand when dragging on to the beach from parking.

Angus is right. The difference between the barrows and wide tires is not as great as the difference between the wides and bigfoot lites. I've rolled easily over sand that was difficult to stand or walk in with the bigfoot tires. The wides would just slide sideways in that stuff.

To bigfoot your Flexi just get the PL bigfoot fork and the kinked downtube and you are set. For a more secure ride, get the PL XR+ seat and add some pads and covers to the side rails. Just like Drewculous is right now! :bigok:
