I wonder if that thing actually puts more stress on the engine/bike rider due to it's 'soft' looking nature. Seems like it would be similar to riding a bike with a low or flat tire..

Depends on how badly/easily it deforms, I would guess. If it has the same deformation strength as a normal properly inflated tire, it shouldn't be an issue.

Good point. Pretty cool/good idea if I say so myself. Every time I put air in tires, in the back of my mind I'm worried that it'll explode.
