Very good idea with the back straps. My Dakine has elastic straps on the legg wraps. I'm thinking about switching those as well.
Flipping the D-ring looks easy and effective. No compromise to the striegnth of the strapping right?

I have mine done the same way with the D Ring. I would love to get rid of those crappy elastic straps. That is the one thing that really annoys me on this harness, lol...

Mine has the spreader bar, but I like the idea of hard straps at the rear. Is there enough "give" in the hard straps when you sit down?

My Ozone harness has the spreader bar as well, and I am working on a quick release that will incorporate the Holt Allen 40mm block and an Ozone Megatron chicken loop. I thought of this design for it's simplicity and ease of putting together. Once I get it finished I will post some pics.

Mood: They're ALL good ideas. Right up until they become BAD ideas.

What a perfect opportunity that would have been to have one-upped Rip's fant-ass-tick pic from earlier

That's a nice compact setup - I guess it's just a matter of finding the perfect mix between strop length and distance from your torso hey? When I add the QR, the carabiner and the pulley I end up with another 4 or inches on top of it all.
