The dates depend on favorable tides, but the Fall Bash tends to happen at the beginning of October.

Newtokiting, yes the beaches are very spacious for the most part. They did have some storm damage over the winter, kind of made the beach a little more shallow then usual. You can do a good long run as long as you get a good low tide and the people don't get too close together. This past fall there were not a lot of people on the beach so long runs were very possible. Not so much during this spring bash. A few guys had some nice runs, but conditions were not at best! Look forward to seeing you in the fall! And welcome to the sport!
