okay 30mins on the phone with CSR, and they have sent everything to the Fraud department.

what is the outcome as of right now NOTHING:

-it takes 5 to 7 business days for them to investigate the whole thing
-reporting by email or chat doesn't work, its better that you all report by phone
-shop owners should be reporting first, so keep on forward pages that contain "that retail shop" to them to report first
-if the item is fake, report it, for example his Peter Lynn / Flexifoil buggies that are Unknown Brand

they have told me that he does receive warnings so with enough of them his account will be suspend. however that may not stop him because it goes by email address not by IP. however if he has to setup a new account it will be at zero feedback and he's back to working the system.

I read the same policy back to eBay CSR and she and the supervisor both on the phone felt stupid they couldn't answer my questions or help. Written policies on any website are never read anyways and most people do not follow up after reporting a case.

it was the supervisor that stated I should fight back with fire. however on a phone conversation I guess they can say anything since at the beginning of the phone call it NEVER once said "this call will be recorded for training purposes".

I really don't think its going to amount to much because it seemed like anyone can call in and say "hello, Im the owner of A Shop and this member on your website is slandering my name to sell his products"
- not once did they ask for supporting documents even though I stated I could supply any information they need to my claim.
- if you're a registered eBay user they will tell you to submit an email instead. Im not on eBay and have never registered for an account

anyways, this is taking too much of my time to fight, and I dont think Im loosing business or friend over his postings.

Amazon tried that a while back when I was trying to file an Amazon Marketplace complaint. When I very calmly and painfully slowly repeated back to them what they were suggesting, they recanted. By the end of the phone conversation, I had been credited back for delayed shipping on several orders going back 6 months. My GF just gave me that "that's why I put you on the phone" look.
